What is your delivery fee?

The freight is not fixed, we shall adjust the freight in time according to the actual situation. Since March 18, 2025, our lastest shipping fees are as below:

Please note that the shipping fee is non-refundable. 

New Zealand Delivery Orders: You can enjoy the free shipping if your order is up to and over NZD120 or up to and over 200 AUD. However, if you change your mind and return some or all of your orders, and the final order is below NZD120 or AUD200, we shall change a 20% (of invoice value) or NZD20/AUD20 as restocking fee (whichever is greater) at our discretion from the refund.

How will you send my order?

All New Zealand orders are sent by NZ Post, Aramex, Castle Parcels and Post Haste. All of them will deliver during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Will I need to sign for my parcel?

To provide peace of mind we use a signature required upon delivery service. This means that someone must be at the delivery address to accept the parcel.

What if no one is home to sign for the parcel?

NZ Post, Aramex, Castle Parcels and Post Haste will leave a “Card to Call” with instructions on how to arrange a redelivery. You can easily book redelivery online.

Do you ship to PO Box addresses?

We’re unable to deliver directly to a PO Box as a signature is required upon delivery by NZ Post, Aramex, Castle Parcels and Post Haste.

When will I receive my order?

Orders can be expected to take 1-2 business days to process and ship. This is counted from the first business day following the day that you placed your order. 

Processing: Orders usually take 1-2 business days to process before it's shipped.

Shipping: NZ Post, Aramex, Castle Parcels and Post Haste will then deliver orders in 2-3 business days after shipment. Rural addresses can add 1-4 days to the delivery time.

Updates, package details and tracking links will be sent to you via email. If for any reason we feel that your order may end up delayed you will be contacted via email during the delivery period to keep you updated.

Returns Service

If a product is not meeting its quality specifications, we can offer to replace it for another one or another product of the same value. Generally, proof of purchase is required in order to get a replacement, although we may waive this requirement if we believe we have sold the product. 

The cost of returning a faulty item to us is to be paid by the customer. We will cover the return delivery cost. 

All return inquiries must be submitted through the email: info@happykid.co.nz.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

Please note that we will not, as a standard matter of course, offer a refund or exchange if you have changed your mind or chosen incorrectly. Please ensure that you select your products carefully and that they are compatible with your requirements prior to buying. Any returns outside of faults or warranty will attract a 20% (of invoice value) or $20 restocking fee (whichever is greater) at our discretion. Return freight cost/tracking will be the responsibility of the buyer. 

Please don’t return items to Happy Kid, prior to completing this process.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@happykid.co.nz and let us know what you will be returning, and be sure to include your name and the original order number.

Then, simply ship the items to the address below. Include your name, email address, and original order number with the return.

Be sure to pack items well so that they are not damaged during shipment. We recommend insuring the package for the full value of the returned item.

*Note – if you’re returning shoes because they don’t fit, and are unsure of what size you should order, please use our sizing chart for guidance or send/email us your measurements and we will ship you the right size!

Refunds
Once we receive the items, we will process the return as quickly as possible, usually within three business days. A credit for the amount of the returned items, not including shipping fees, will be credited to the credit card, debit card, or other account used for the original purchase.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. The cost of returning the item to us is to be paid by the customer.

The Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act provide the basis for happykid.co.nz return policy.

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by happykid.co.nz. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
